Thank you

Thank you

I wanted to unpick the meaning behind my 'thank you' cards with you.

I really had hoped to create something that'd stand the test of time and would be least likely to end up in the bin.

I decided to draw inspiration from a portfolio of work made whilst at university, a tough but important time for my creative practice.

Pictured: Three experimental mixed media pieces from 2017, second year of my degree. These were the very first pieces I ever used snakeskin in, my favourite discovery to date. It's lovely to see some consistency transferring over into my chosen medium.

I studied a multitude of art techniques for a number of years, printmaking was a favourite of mine. It made sense that it was the place to start. All my thank you cards are printed by hand from a lino cut, with black ink and a stack of unwanted paper.

Pictured: Imperfectly perfect, 100 thank you cards printed and trimmed by me.

Thank you all so much for your continued support, you're all the best.
